These were very popular in Europe and in the USA. The JPS Capri with the black and gold color scheme was very cool, and the Opel Manta was it's direct competitor. The Opel GT looked like a mini Corvette.
I hope I'm not the only one here who remembers those cars; kind of showing my age I guess.

I’m having a hard time finding this 54 mm Atomic Tires that you Guys are using over there.

Somebody wrote earlier these tires are like Sorex


During the hot summer the Org HPI Tires worked fine on Asphalt, now it is getting fall in Germany and the Tires can’t handle the Speed anymore.

At the End of the Strait going in to a long 90° Curve the Porsche is acting like a real on.

Rear Bumper is passing the Front. Tide turns and accelerating to fast the same thing.


Need some help with this; also I’m looking for a Winner setup for Indoor on Carpet.

CR is Original except Spring and Stabiliser Set.

Is the only thing we can change, competing at the LRP Classic Challenge.

The BMW 2002 is official available in Germany , but only as a Kit

The BMW Bodies as a Spare Part is not on the Street yet.

Raman, that's awesome, I may have to pick up one of those.

I got my Exotek front drive cup. I was curious if anyone else had the issue I did. Everything looked the same, but when I tightened down the screw that holds it to the diff pinion I ended up with a lot of slack between the cup and the bearing. I ended up using 3 Losi 6mm shims to take up the space and ended up with a small tick of play which I was more than happy with. Just curious if anyone else had this issue? Otherwise, I'm very happy with it and honestly it'd probably work fine the way it is... just curious if anyone else noticed it or if it was just me.

The sweep tires work great with the CR. We just finished up a decently sized 'Brawl' race 27 minis this past weekend. CR's, Fujin's, atomic's, and ABC's. I'd have to say almost all the cars had sweeps on. some used sweeps up front with ABC tires on the back. a couple of people ran sorex.
I'd recommend Sweep 33's at all four corners.
We run boosted ESC's so 55mm to 60mm isn't a performance factor.

Everything seems tight and the screw looks like it did with the plastic one installed... I'm thinking maybe the drive teeth aren't fully seating? It doesn't seem to effect anything with having those shims on there and everything seemed to be fitting properly... I just wanted to see if this was a common experience for those who got them (I know there's a few out there) or if maybe mine had oversized drive teeth, etc. Without running it, everything seemed to be working properly though.

I installed my front cup. I did not notice what AMorgan mentioned. I did notice that the bearing had a tight tolerance on the input shaft. I'll problably destroy the bearing if I had to remove it.
I believe this helped with eliminating any slop.
To install the input cup, I got the bearing on barely past the 'teeth' and I inserted the bearing into the bearing holder and tightend the screw until both were fully seated. Then back'd the screw off a 1/8 of a turn.

Hrm, mine had a nice slip fit on the bearing, no tightness but no slop. I plan to order a CRX chassis soon. When I have it all apart, I'll investigate further.
