Hi Guys,

I'll be on the phone with Tamiya tomorrow to find out when and how much the TRF415 will be. I personally don't see it costing more than what we sold the Surikarn for ($369.99) since the 415 looks to be a regular production kit (hence the part number starting with "5") As soon as I find out more info, we'll start a pre-order on our website

Looks like Tamiya made some changes for the production car:

-Steel srews
-Front center body mount
-Carbon rear uprights
-Black diff
-Normal height lightweight servo mounts

it appears that they also got away from the vertical ball stud rear hubs (like yok,losi,kyo).

it sure is a pretty sight, though.

I hope the cost will fall reflecting on the fact that it is not a fully hopped up kit like a Evo 3 S or a 414 WCR. I will cancel my preorder if the price does not drop below the 59000 yen or whatever it was on pre order from Rainbow ten. Rick

TRF415 (tentative name) prototype

After TRF414 accomplishing victory, at the time of 2002 IFMAR
