Tamiya TRF415
I am sure its been memtioned before, but i couldn't see anything obvious when i did a quick search. I have just finished building my MRE other than sorting roll bars for it. What roll bars are people using? I heard that Marc was using HPI Pro 4 bars at the worlds. I have compared the rear roll bar to the ones on my TA05, and they seem the same, so i am just wondering about the front bars really. The TA05 front bars seem simular, but have a longer extension which could be trimmed i am guessing.

Cheers for that Rick. Long time no see.
I have an evo 4 as well, so i will dig the roll bars out and give them a try.

I'm using the TA05 black set... means they are the same as the MRE bars in colour
Yeah thats ok, as i said TA05 seems to be good for the rear, so i was only after a front option

TA05 Fronts fit too. I personally prefer the longer extension, as it means the roll bars links don't hit the axles. The other way of doing it is to just put a hole in the ball cup.

Has anyone tried running there 415 MR edition with four cells and a mod motor ??? This is a new class that a few people are starting to run here in the UK and i just wondered if anyone has tried it.
Im selling a TC4 FT at the moment but once that is gone i will be getting my hands on a 415 MR edition to replace my old wornout standard 415 and will be running to this new four cell class.

Not sure how many people you will find who have run 4 cell mod with it, but i can tell you the drive train on mine feels very free, which is a big positive (mine will be run in stock for club racing - only class, then 19t and mod). Not sure if you already know, but your going to have to add weights to the right side of the chassis to compensate for the missing two cells. The car was designed for 6 cells. You want it balanced L to R.
I purchased the ta05 F+R sway tuning kit and they fit fine..
what is the point of 4cell mod wouldn't a 19t 6cell be faster????

At a guess, the idea is to bring down both the speeds and the cost. The thing killing motors and costing us a fortune is the extra voltage. If you cut the voltage the motors should last alot longer, plus the cells are then cheaper, and the advantages stack up.... but of course its alot slower....

From testing at a local outdoor club last weekend 7t and 4cells was on a par with 19t 6cell but with the cars coming in at 1375g they were more nimble and fun to drive.

going back to the sway bar thing.... The black TA05 bars are exactly the same size and shape as the ones supplied with the MRE (measured up my set with the MRE ones).

I know its a old post but...why would you have to use the old style pully? are they diffrent sizes? I mean the finial drive is still going to be 2.5?

The TA05 front and centre won't fit, as the belt is on the other side compared to the 415.
