You don't want to close this gap, this will bind your bearings where there's no point in having no play.
This play is necessary AND does not do anythig wrong to the drive train as it's a belt driven car.

Do you think this car will be cheaper in japan rather than in the US. Also what is the price of the car in the US.

im guessing it should be cheaper in japan but probably not enough to justify the shipping etc.
anway, on to important things...
do u think the setup will be like the evo3? 414? what shock oil weight will everybody be using? :P

I've ordered my two from Rainbow Ten. I got them at the special price that had advertised for the first 50 they got. 5000yen off I think.
I emailed them and they are shipping on the 27th-28th. Should have it on the 2nd of march!!!!

WoW! Still cost $500 per car. I don't think this car worth enough to spent that much. U.S. release should only cost little more than $300 or less. I'll wait for little longer.

The street price should be somewhere between the prices of a standard Evo and an EvoS. The retail price is in the ballpark if I remember correctly.
#793
Street price should be higher then an EVO3 Surikarn. The price on the box for an Evo3Suri is 49.800Yen, for an TRF415 it is 59.800 yen.
You do the math.

As much as I want this car I am done paying the rediculous prices for Tamiya cars. For price and performance I will stick with the lower priced cars, plus in a year or so the car will be discontinued
and no support. I am a big fan of Tamiya but payiing the price for
what their putting out is stupid. And the support is not their we as racers know more than Tamiya USA does. Hey like I said, I love Tamiya but I am not going to be a fool again and buy into the limited EVO crap. The only way I will buy tamiya again is that the price comes down and the support get's better. If your a collector great but if your a racer you better have Deep Pockets.
