I have got a spool, but haven't tried it yet, been waiting on the locked centre pulley to arrive, which it now has (along with low fricition belts). I'm going to try it in a little while, indoors on a rather low grip surface, but this weekend I'm racing indoors on carpet, and am very happy with the handling of the car with one ways in, so I'll leave it as is for now. (plus this weekend we've got 12th cars running too, so the grip is really going to shot up)

Peter, ok not to worry, I will try to get a B+B as close as possible to the track and get taxis, should be fine. Do we have to bring our own roof to pit under? Sorry for all the Qs, I only normally race indoors on carpet...lol

i hate to bring it up again, but im thinking that the body used at Reedy on Suri's car may be the Legacy... just got mine from R10, and i dunno... looks about exactly the same. very nice body, id say... other than no window masks. nice TRF sticker sheet with it, plus its marked for 415 and Evo holes...

Tamiyadriver, any chance of posting some pictures of it, I'm thinking about getting one as my next shell (to be honest, the losi skoda I'm currently running seems a little weak in places). And the fact that it's marked up for a 415/evo is great, but i'm suprised about no window masks, strikes me as very odd, especially for a tamiya shell!

it does have 2 wings, 1 kinda rounded, the other squared off. prolly make for a better pic after i paint it, tho. just got it in last night, and i am waiting on my new Iwata Eclipse brush to get here before i attemp it! ill snap some pix clear this eve and see if you can tell anything. looks very nice, similar profile to a 2.0 Stratus, but seems like it has a taller rear deck.

I have the B4 body too. And like tamiyadriver said.. it very much resembles a Strat 2.0. I didn't open mine yet, but are you saying it has NO window masks???!!!! WTF!! hahaha Damn..... I was all siked up that it was marked for my 415 and Evo IV. But no masks... haha... I guess ya can't have it all.

JR, the 415 is a very nice car. It's very easy to tune. And changes/tuning made are very noticable (to me) on a smooth track with decent traction. The car is very durable and hardly needs any hopup parts. Only thing about the car is doin maintenance on it. It's time consuming accessing the diffs as well as adjusting belt tension. Batteries need to be taped in. And electronics space is somewhat limited if you have older larger electronics.

I notice your in the us Tamiyadriver, how well packaged was the shell from r10? I'm in the uk, and thats the only thing that worrys me is actually getting it shipped over, what with size and flexability of it.
But I was very impressed with the speed my belts and layshaft arrived from them, so I'd be happy to order from them again. Then again if I want one of thoose shells, I'm gonna have to import, as The Hobby Company say it isn't on there books for the uk, and probably won't be for a while.... ie like the rest of the TRF parts for the 415... grrrr

Mine was from R10 as well. It was in a huge box that could hold 2 bodies in it. I think it was well packed with crunched packing paper on both sides of the body. I "also" got the aluminium input shafts as well as spare arms and hubs and stuff for my Evo IV.
