They took their VTA's to the Oval, on Friday nights vs On Road Saturdays and I cant make Fridays. I can't make any days at moment. The VTA guys also race USGT and F1, the 2 biggest Saturday classes. I just want to get on the track. I haven't been on carpet in 3-4 years. Or any track in 2

On the Sanwa MT44, has anyone used the LED Unit feature?
If I'm thinking this is working how I hope, LED-TH would be a breaking LED on the Throttle side?

also, there isnt much different with different manufacture regarding diffs. It all comes down to how well you build it and what steps you use to make sure they stay smooth.
What I do to ensure a smooth operating diff is use ceramic balls if possible, try and find spur gears with more holes for diff balls, sand the diff rings flat, make sure you replace the bearing inside the hub with a thrust bearing it it doesnt come with one, make sure all your bearings are smooth, use proper diff grease but not too much so that its caked with dust. This have kept all my diff problem free and still relatively smooth after multiple runs. Clean and rebuild your diff if it starts to fill gritty.

Disaster-What thrust bearing do you recommend? I run a lightningf.
What wings are durable? I run a tamiya wing set 51525 and the front wing gets bent down and scrapes. The rear wing is cracking at the base. What do you guys run? I realize I shouldn't hit anything but any small tap causes the front wing to drag. I fix it with a cig lighter

As for wings, I would use the ETS spec front and rear wing. Montech, yokomo or xray sells the same wing.
It's pretty much par for the course for the front wings to bend if you hit the boards too much. A little heat to the wing and a little bending usually returns it back to normal until your next crash.
how often are people rebuilding their diffs and what ball diff greases do people recommend/stay away from? I'm currently using Yokomo ball diff grease

I usually rebuild mine when needed, when I feel the diff is starting to get gritty its usually a dirty thrust bearing. A good wash and grease usually brings it back to usable condition for me. If that doesnt work, then the diff rings are too far gone and needs to be re-surfaced.
For serious racers or anyone that wants that competitive edge, its not a bad idea to clean and rebuild before every race day. Shouldnt take that long, the longest would be resurfacing the diff rings.
Any ball diff specific grease should work just fine

Hi! I'm looking to enter the F1 RC scene, but am not sure which kit to get.
Am considering either the Tamiya TRF102, Roche F1 & Xray 2017 kit.
What would be advisable for me to start with?

Any pictures on how to mount a fan for the motor? I have a Serpent Sf3.
