Are there helmet decal sets out here somewhere? I can't imagine helmets being painted with that sort of detail. That's a really nice kit and paint job Thunder

Thanks. I don't see any helmet kits on F1paintlab besides a couple livery kits that include random ones. The guy on ebay has a couple VERY good looking helmets painted up as Seb and Kimi for this season though. Guess my Toro Rosso's will have Ferrari drivers lol

A few of the livery sheets come wth helmet graphics. Every sheet comes with a shield decal with sponsor banners.
Unfortunately the helmet designs have become very complex and would take more time to create than the liveries themselves. If a helmet design is simple or has simple elements we wil attempt to create them

Is that normal on Protoform shells to have the front wing pylons sitting past the front of the front wing?

Man I miss my FGX. Was the most frustrating, fragile and fun car to drive. I just couldn't keep front arms on it. Of course as soon as I sold it Exotek comes out with the new front end and I'm like UUUUGGGGHHHHH!!
Pic is of FGX on left and Exotek F1R on right ready for the 2012 Carpet Nationals. Couldn't get the FGX right so I went with the F1R got 3rd in B Main.

Nothing I do with my cars is normal. I probably just messed up. Mounted body too far forward when I eyeballed where the holes needed to be. I probably marked them correctly but took off protective layer before I thought to make the holes. I'm a mess

Hey guys,

this is my second foray into F1, starting WAY back in the mid 90s with a Footwork FA13 on a F102 chassis. I just picked up a F104 Pro Black Edition from a buddy and it's great fun. Working on a body for it now.

However...my real question has to do with another F1 chassis that recently crossed my path....a guy saw my 104 and started talking to me about a F1 chassis he was interested in trading. I ended up getting a F201 4wd F1 car from him for a couple and Vanquish beadlocks for his crawler. My question is what pitch gears does the F201 use and does anyone know where I can find a body for it?

Sorry....I guess that actually is two questions. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Oh, sorry I didn't mean to point it out if it was a mistake. I'm sure we have all done that though. I messed up with a 2008 Ford RS shell on an old Tamiya FF01 chassis! I didn't think to a) pre drill the holes or mark their positions as it was a carbon dip shell b) make sure that the hatch style shell would fit on the mounting posts for the original sedan setup. Stupid me.

I have only ever seen the F201's BMW Williams shell on eBay, but I've not really looked that hard.
