Thought the paint issue was dead. Can't we move on to discussing using a Bridgestone or Goodyear tire decal? Or if we should use tire decals at all.

Another great turnout from the F1 NAZI at one point today we had 16 cars, all with F1 livery and looking SWEEEEET!!
once again the FGX was DOMINANT!!
Just a practice day our next race is this coming sunday, 16 cars showed up today and we expect around 20 next sunday for the race!

As for the argument that the 200mm wide cars aren't 'scale' because they are wider than the current scale width of 180mm, to be pedantic about this if the 180mm wide cars were actually true to scale they should be about 40mm longer as modern full size F1s have a wheelbase around 3100mm.

Has anyone tried narrowing the front track and how it affects the handling?
I have an F109 and at my current track grip is very low and I can't find a handling balance I like. I've tried all the different tyre combinations that people recommend but its an unprepared track and I just can't get enough rear grip. The care is drivable (and probably reasonably fast) but I would just like it "nicer" to drive.
I've worked out a way to narrow the front to about 193mm. When I've read specs on other 2WD cars the front track is almost always listed as narrower than the rear so I have been wondering if this is a possible solution

A narrower width gives more roll, so may give you more steering, which if your cause is from excessive steering lock in corners then this can help reduce hooking on corner exit when power is applied.
Another thing to try is a different racing line, like turning in later to take a late apex which allows you to exit a corner straighter.
