Awesome pics everyone! I've been lurking in this thread for the last few days and it has definitely given me the bug to get another F1 car. When I was a kid I had a Tamiya F102 Sauber and I loved that thing to death but unfortunately we do stupid things as we get older and at some point I decided to sell it.

I'm so excited to hear that Tamiya has finally started making these again. My only worry is that they'll only make these for a little while and I won't be able to get parts/tires for it in the future.

BTW Where is everyone getting the rubber tires for these?

I got mine at RCMart.com, but they'er sold out on the rear tires. You could try RCMarket.com or the the-border.com. The-border is a bit more expensive at the the pirce they sell them at.

The pics they have up there are actually of the Anniversary Edition. The regular RM doesn't come with all those nice aluminum pieces you see pictured. As for the body I'm not sure anyone knows what body it'll come with, if any.

I know -- just thought it was interesting that they have the special edition pics up on the normal 49498 F103RM page. I have a standard RM and I know it doesn't come with all the hop-ups.

I wasn't replying to you. I realized that you knew that, but wanted to point it out to parasys who said that was a regular RM. I'm not sure why Tamiya put those pics up there, but you have to wonder how many people ordered that kit only to find it didn't have any of those optional parts.

A month ago, those pictures weren't there, only the standard kit pics sans body. Not even the body now shown was there. Silly webmaster.

Time to stop talking and start racing! We will be hosting some F1 events in Southern Illinois, Chattanooga, TN and Dalton, GA. There is also a chance to bring it to Southern Ohio also. Keep watching here for info. All you guys have to do is the three "ups" show up, signup, and lineup! Are we ready to race?
