Just the thrust bearing, conical washers and the silver end piece, not the plastic rim piece

no adapter is required for the Zen f1 rim when used on an F103. On a tamiya rim, the thrust bearing and conical washers are put inside of the plastic mesh part of the two part rim. It is kind of nice that these parts don't fall out when you take the wheel off. The Zen wheel is one piece and nothing holds it in the rim so it just falls out when you take the wheel off.

I responded on the other F103 forum with a longer list than Brads, but without p/n's. Go check it out.

I converted two GT's last winter and I feel I should have just bought a new chass kit.

Just got my F103 on the road after a year or so of sitting. Scored it on ebay for $10 bucks.

What i'm looking for is a new front wing, rear wing, body and diffuser set. I've been to D-Drive and am having trouble deciphering all of the different wings and which bodies wil fit.

I found an adapter ring for the spur at my LHS, however the 104 tooth, 64 pitch gear seems WAY too large. I can go 100 and 88. Although i saw someone else used a 94. Any suggestions? I'm running some Type B rubber tires the LHS had on the shelf. I'm in Florida so that seems good enough for the hot concrete track.

It also looks as though i'll need a new axle soon, too much wear from the set screw on the spur side. Aluminum, Carbon Fiber?

Posted a pic since i'm totally new to F1. Maybe you guys can spot some issues i'd never notice.

Thanks!!!

PS-Please ignore the for sale notice in the pics, tried to sell it about 6 months ago. Glad i didn't!

10 bucks? Nice score dude!! That is the exact set up I scored the Souther California win with. You are closer than you know to true F-1 greatness with that chassis. Just keep working it with some foreward thinking and you should be just fine.....

Let me know what body set you are looking for.

That's my question... what body set should i get?

From what i can tell, i've got the high nose body and front wing. I like the look, since that's what most of the cars looked like this year in F1.

However, the rear wing was broken when i got it and it looked like the diffuser was installed by somone who had no idea what the dimples on the lexan were for.

The front wing is in one piece, it just has a bunch of decals on it and is white, which may or may not affect future paint schemes.

If i could score everything as one kit or from one vendor, i'd be very happy.
