Can anyone advise if the standard F103RM kits comes with an ESC (the spec sheet is a little ambigous). Also does anyone know what part number of spec the ESC is?
Cheers

It has a static center damper and not a shock type damper in the center. It has steering rods with and S on the servo saver end and nylon cups on the steering knuckle side instead of turnbuckles. The diff housing is plastic as is the motor mount. The servo mount is an L shaped bracket and the servo held in by servo tape. The RM kit instructions have you assemble the car as a pillowball T-Bar suspension, but it also comes with the O Ring type setup and no additional instructions on how to set up the O ring. The spur gear is .6 pitch, 63 tooth and the provided spur is .6 pitch 17 tooth.

Here are some updates to my pile, since we all know this thread lacks pics
I have ran it a few race days, and just got some rubbers for it from TRG and Dinball. They are suppppper sticky but notably heavier and will need to be balanced.
The diffuser is ABC type D i think? From the 2005/2006 timeframe. It is pretty solid but a PITA to build.
The body is the Chevron F1 08 and it will be painted the livery from the Toro Rosso STR4 and done up with the 08 wings. We are going to reproduce the painted graphic and use Oracal printed vinyl to get it to fit right. I am stoked!
edit: I mislabeled the pics as RB4. Don't kill me.

Anyone know of a source for a 14mm hex tire truer adapter?
The F103 foam tires have a 14mm hex, not the standard 12mm hex that the Hudy truer adapter has. I would like to true my rear tires, can true the fronts with the stardard 12th scale adapter, but the rears ?????

Eagle makes one-

It works well for the rears, but i still think a 1/12 arbor is better for fronts.

I want to buy the TRG carbon print body for my F103R.
I already purchased the 3Racing high down force wing set. Will this body fit with these wings?
Also, is this body precut or will it need cutting? Does it come with any stickers? If not, what stickers would look good on it?

i went to my local onroad track to test the beast out finally...well... it lasted for nearly 1/2 hour.the track was 92*, i had only one set of tires(35 shore sauced up) lets just say traction wasnt an a concern, it was waaaay too grippy. nearing this 1/2 hour a few locals came out with 5.5T, 6.5T and 7700Kv brushless systems(mind you mine is only 3300kv) well right after the long straight away, there is a large u turn. coming upon this turn i was running it HARD, and the 7700kv was gettign ready to get lapped, and i assume he lost control, and tapped my rear left wheel, and it sent me into the wall. hard. what you see here is a broken motor mount, a bearing(or atleast what is left) and the misc axle pieces. the axle is perfect. no bends, no cracks, but i do need a new motor mount, and a new bearing.
im used to 4wd drift vehicles, this is a whole 'nother beast. i will be at the track every day i dont ahve work or school...
