Sorry, ignore my advice. I thought you were running 1/12th for some reason.

Ok, let me try again for you robert.

I'm no expert at TC but for one, your rpm point sounds low for 13.5 tc. Try bumping it up some. Also reduce endbell timing and drop turbo ramp down to 1 or two.

This should help get more rip out of the corners and keep temps down. If so, you can probably go up a tooth or two on the pinion to get the straight speed you need.

But again, I don't know much about 13.5 tc so hopefully an expert will pop in soon to give even better advice.

Is there any particular reason why nobody says Novak in this thread?

the average 13.5 tc setup is
40-45 timing boost
0-10 turbo(depends on size of track
5-12 motor
4-5k start
13-16k end(depends on size of the track)
fdr 7-7.5

You're welcome. Just out of curiosity, what did you tweak, how did it run, how much falloff in laptimes, were you getting beat anywhere, etc. etc. ? Maybe we can find some more speed

Oh, and where are you racing?

Only things I change was timing back to 0 on the motor , It did not slow me down but the fall off was only about .6 after 6 min , I race in Trois riviere (canada) Keven Hebert was here today with his sedan, we race 'blinky' in sedan, but I had a feeling his lrp motor was pulling quite more than my novak , he was 0.5 a lap faster than me (I got second) , for sure 0.4 on driving and maybe 0.1 motor setup ect ect ... what are your tought on lrp motor?

So far, I'm loving the LRP motors, especially for blinky but also in boost. They do take a little different set-up in boosted. Even with a -10 timing insert, they still have a fair amount of timing in them so you can't run quite as much boost or turbo but that super strong rotor lets it pull a bit more gear.

Still having issues with my setup

Had to take out the Synergy 17.5. Although the RS will now power up, the sensor test shows nothing and speed is SLOW (endbell timing... tried, 0, +4, +15, no change). RS doesn't seem to add boost or turbo.

Changed to a SP 17.5 I have (endbell timing "stock" position... whatever timing that is) works fine for a few minutes then the same thing seems to happen... the car slows down drastically with the RS apparently no longer adding boost or turbo. I can cycle power to the RS and it will work for another lap or two and then back to slow speed.

Tamiya TRF417: 6.33FDR
Radio: Airtronics M11
Servo: Savox SC-1251MG
Spektrum Rx CAP installed
Battery: Pro-Match 5000mAh/45c

RS SETUP:
Boost:45
RPM: Start 3030, END 16000
Turbo: 10
Delay: .20
Ramp: 2
Motor Type: 1
Cutoff: 2S
Mode: Sensored
Direction: BL/FW
Profile: 4
Limiter: OFF
Drag Brake: 10
Min Brake: 10
Min Throttle: 10
Brake Strength: 100
Reverse: OFF
Neutral Width: 10
Push: OFF

I have almost this exact same setup on my TA05 (6.23 FDR), with a Trinity Duo1 motor, Futaba S9550 servo (endbell middle postion = 20) and another RS and it works flawlessly.

I had a very similar problem
Turned out to be the servo (align 610)
I have heard that savox servos are power hungry
Hope this can help you it took me 2 days to figure out

Just for testing purposes, put a receiver pack on it and see if that cures the problem.
