don't get this lipo yet, but the spec sheet shows it's quite wide. E4JS & E4JR should be no problem. Not sure about E4FS & E4RS yet.

I was prepping my E4 last night in an attempt to run it for the 1st time this weekend and noticed that the bar where the sway bars slot into seems to move at one side, which in turn makes one side of the sway bar more responsive than the other and therefore stiffer which must effect the handling. Is this normal? or if not how have you guy's fixed the problem.

It does this at both ends, it's the bar mounted to the bulkheads. From looking at it it will make cornering one way different to the other.

Cheers
Aaron

there is an adjustment screw in the mounting braket that you need to adjust on both sides to get the same feel.

Hi I was looking into getting an e4, but I dont know what to buy. I run rubber asphalt in the summer and carpet foam in the winter. I also run trakpower 4900 lipos. Which model will be the best for me. Also I do not like running a spool or oneway.
How do the a arms hold up? I looked at the chasis over the weekend and that was the only thing that I saw on the car that looked weak at first glance.

The arms hold up very well , i would get the FS version is for foam but it works very well on asphalt. You should be able to fit the lipo in it if not all you need to do is to shim up the top deck for the battery to fit. Also the FS comes with a front diff.

Anyone know if its possible to get 0deg rear toe on the E4?
I'm using the car in a silvercan class and don't need rear toe as the engine doesnt have enough power to require it.

Cheers

Lycan,You can get the 1.5 k factory rear hub carriers and put them on backwerds to get 0,you must set the rear toe blocks to 1.5 to do this.Hope this helps.Doug Lemmons

FYI

The new Intellect 3800 hard case Lipos fit my E4.

Just needed to drill a hole in the back end of the top deck so that I could plug the negative wire into the battery. It doesn't appear to weaken the top deck but means I can't mount my cooling fan there anymore.
