Testing during the RROC last weekend went great! The new parts worked flawlessly with zero failures. The delrin outdrives made the car much smoother than ever with minimal front chatter. The dogbone pins looked like new and there was vitually no signs of wear on the outdrives.
I have a batch of these outdrives available for $10 per pair + shipping.
I used the aluminum LiPo tray on my car as well. This new tray has no problem with the larger batteries as I have designed them with a 47x138mm cavity.
The trays will only be offered in aluminum at this time as the minimum weight limit for TC has be reduced to 1425 grams and the heavy trays are no longer needed.
The cavity on the new trays allow the battery to sit just 1.5 mm from the bottom of the chassis and will accommodate strapping tape for added security. If your batteries have humps, no problem as the trays are cut to accommodate the humps to allow the pack to sit low in the tray providing the lowest CG possible.
The trays are selling for $45 each + shipping.
If you would like to place an order, please paypal me at [email protected] and I will get them out to you ASAP.
I am offering free shipping for those who want to purchase both the outdrives and a battery tray in one shipment.
If there is a demand for delrin trays, I will consider machining them as well for added flex and chassis tuning. (same pricing)
One added note about the outdrives: These will use the same retaining ring as the plastic diff outdrives rather than a sleeve over the delrin. This allows extra room for the dog pins and are readily available with the car kit and TM parts sources.
Let me check my finances and get back to you. I will check when I get home and see what the battery tray is made out of. I'm not sure if it's steel or aluminum. My car has two sets of aluminum out drives; one set s the DE anodized red version.

I got both of the TM tray and it's not even close to the tray that Yodog has, the bettery sits lower for even lower CG and I don't even use a spacer to raise the top deck. I'm using TP 5000mah LIPO. With the CG of the car lower it's even more planted on high speed corners

Kim, I think he has the WolfHobbies steel tray that comes with the DE version.
my tray is definately lower than the stock trays. they are like 3mm thick at the bottom, mine is 1.5mm.

Hey folks, just a heads up. If anyone is interested in an allmost brand new kit, actually, roller minus radio, receiver and battery. You just cant beat a super balanced car. This thing rips. http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...ml#post7835451

Yes, that is what I have. It is heavy however, the car is already light and we have a minimum weight for stock class. I'm not looking to shed any more weight. The low CG does interest me though.

VikNor... main issue will be tyre wear and ride heights relative to droop.. YOu'll have to keep adjusting. If power off understeer, more rear droop or on power more front... We havent run foams but run nitro with foams.

Default Upgrades

I love my E4Rs 09 But what kind of parts should i buy to make it even better?. Im goin to order everything i need i one order from HK or the States because they just stopped selling these cars here in norway. Any pics of the outdrives and Tray?. I have the original 09 Tray But lower CG is always a bonus. Wont the alu tray stiffen up and change the flex in the chassie? Anyone testet the Lx Shocks from K Factory?.

Hi guys just bought an E4RS and am trying to get it set up for asphalt the problem i'm having is how to get the track width of the car out to 190 rear and 189 front. I am in Perth Australia and am the only one using Team magic at the local track. I hot good results with the E4 and will hopefully do better with the RS. I cant seem to find an aftermarket hex that might help with offset, does anyone have any advice for me please.
Thanks
Rax
