You ordered the stock E4 bumper. The DE upper bumper has been out. Although the website still shows it being available. I don't know why because I couldn't even leave it as a back order.

A little clarification on our policies. Since most orders are shipped within 24 hours or receipt (Friday afternoon through Sunday excepted) we do not send out a verification of the order as a verification of shipment does go out at the moment of shipment so it would be redundant.

Also it would be better to check with us on the availability of parts than on a board. We have never been out of the bumper in the entire time that the E4 has been available. The Wolf Hobbies upper bumper kit is out of stock at this time but it should be available soon. We have a new carbon fiber vendor and they should be able to put the countersink on the correct side.

There are still a few of the Special Edition burgundy upper bulkheads available. Please contact us directly with special requests and we will always do everything possible to help out

Thank you

Wolf

Wolf Hobbies is a wonderful place to get Team Magic parts. You can also get your questions answered fast. Thanks Wolf!

Have found that the stock body posts are a little flexy. Has anyone found a thicker body post replacement or are non available?

I ran my E4RS for the first time last weekend and it ROCKS! I'm running indoors on carpet with a 17.5 turn motor and I couldn't believe how well this car handles. It is night and day better than my Evo IV.

I have a question. I traded a High Lift for a DE Edition E4. The top deck support that attaches to the belt tension post was broken when I got it. Closer inspection shows that this support isn't made from the thickest metal. I have thought about ordering a new one but, I don't want to waste the money if it's going to break easily. Suggestions?

After checking online, it looks like the replacement upper deck mount / belt tensioner is much thicker than the one that came on the DE edition. Does anyone know this to be true? Or, has this part been updated somewhere along the line?

A picture would be helpful in your description.
If you are talking about the brace from the rear bulkhead, it shouldn't break at all. If you are talking about the side belt tensioner area, the mount might have been dremmeled to create more motor clearance thus making it a bit too thin. The stock part would be stronger.

Default Go Team Magic.

Jochim and I won our respective races last night making it a Team Magic blow out. Mod for me and 17.5 for Jochim.
The cars were both working great!
Heck he didn't even get any practice prior to 3rd and last qualifier yet nearly TQ'd.

If only my car was running this good at the RROC.

I'm talking about the side belt tensioner / upper deck mount. On my car it is aluminum and very thin. I searched online and found a "new" upper deck mount on Wolf Hobbies website. http://www.wolfhobbies.com/E4_Parts-...eck_Mount.html From the looks of it (the picture is very small) it is made from carbon and plastic. I ordered it hoping it will be more durable.

Does anyone have a good starting point setup for 17.5, rubber tires on carpet for a small indoor track?

Get the battery tray that Yodog is selling you will never need a lipo spacer. 5000 MAH plus lipo fits like a glove without raising the top deck.

I've been getting questions about what packs will fit in my tray without any top deck shims.
Basically, these are the dimension limits. 23.5mm high without shims, 138mm long with rounded corners. (older SMC cases will not fit as they are 139mm with squared corners), 47mm wide.

If your LiPo pack is within these boundieis, you should have no problem getting your pack to fit. If your pack is taller than 23.5 mm, you will need to add shims to make up the difference.
I can cut trays 0.5mm deeper if your pack is a hair too tall to fit but any more than that will make the tray too thin at the bottom. (<1mm)
I hope this helps.
