Looking for Grahoo's damper setup

Back on page 636 (or so) it was mentioned that Grahoo was experimenting with a M05 damper setting. Did anything come of that? If so, could someone put up a quote or link back to the page where it's shown?

Thanks!

Guys, have a look the video @ 55sec. Tamiya is releasing new option parts for our m05, Anti-roll bar & front shock tower :sneaky:

Might somebody elaborate on the ruling at yesterday's TCS (in Aliso Viejo) regarding the ball stud on the steering knuckle of the M-05? I think I heard there were no spacers allowed underneath and no using the old M-03 raised ball stud to change the ackerman or something...

Again, this was at yesterday's TCS, don't know how rulings will or will not change elsewhere..

Stitchy, thanks for the motor! Nice to meet you yesterday.

The B win was intense!

Tell Jeff thanks too, glad to have stuff at the racetrack!

Quick question....

I need the star shaft (three prong thing that holds the bevel gears) in the gear diff of my M03. I cant seem to find one for sale. Does anyone know if its the same as the one in the TT01? I found those for sale at tower.

Thanks
Chris

rccardr 05-17-2010 07:50 PM

Yep, they are all the same, Chris.

Timbulb 05-17-2010 07:58 PM

That star shaft comes in a kit with the two outside gears and the three bevel gears. the kit is a little different in the TT01s. The two outer gears have a different input shaft design. But if you're only using the small gears they're all the same.

new kit

Hey guys

Just got me a new Rover Mini Cooper M05, my first mini.
I've been 1/8 nito offroad and 1/10 nitro onroad mostly but I just couldn't resist this little thing :D

I got a few questions:
- to run the Rover Mini Cooper body I build the chassis as the M05L correct?
- What paint is the Red color used (preferably Tamiya code please)?
- Any tips on the build?
- Do I have to break-in the motor (water method)? I mean if I oil before using and run it off the ground slow for a short time and then run it on the ground slow, won't the bushes seat eventually?

Now I'm a nitro guy for years and have little knowledge when it comes to electric cars...but with a little patience from my side and yours I'm sure I'll get up to speed...in the meantime be easy on me ;)

Appreciate your help folks.

I run my silvercans in on 2v for 40 YES 40 hrs , just adding oil to the bushes every now and again , use a motor heatsink but it is not 100% necessary as the motor is still cool to touch
