Hi guys. Sorry for crushing in but I need any info about tire inserts. I bought my first car a few days ago, an M05-Ra and I noticed there were no tire inserts. Even the instruction manual does not show any inserts. Is it okay to assemble the tires without an insert? Thanks. If this post violates any rule please feel free to delete it. Edwin

no rules here in the mini topic :lol: i would use inserts in the tyres it is better for the tyres you can do what i do to save a couple of $ by cutting down touring car inserts from the guys at your local track or your own old ones |

Yet another new 210mm SWB m chassis bodyshell from Spice.
The new Honda CRZ. http://home.iprimus.com.au/anthonygray/CRZ.jpg It's not exactly one that I'll be rushing to get hold of in a hurry..... |
Where do you guys get your mini parts from online prefferbly U.S. but open to others need to get wheels, tires and a few other things
|
Speedtech
Tower Tamiya USA RcMart This is where I shop for my mini stuff. Hope this helps. For wheels and tires I would check out Sweep USA. They are cheaper, last longer, they come pre mounted too if you don't like glueing tires and they offer more compounds to choose from. |
Myatomic.com is a good source for Tamiya stuff too. Spend $25 and you get free shipping.

Hey guys jus picked a m05 blue...Wanted to ask what other hop ups would you suggest for this kit.. Thanx alot

Oil filled shocks, preferrably the aluminium m-chassis shocks are probably the easiest (or at least they were on the M03) as they are shorter and have less droop (so you dont have to put RUBBER o-rings inside the shock body).
Aluminium steering link and steering set. Universals are a good idea. People reckon the aluminium motor plate is a good idea (dont know if it is necessary, i use aftermarket ones). And a Ball Diff is a good idea build it real tight so you get more drive out of a corner than a gear diff. I prefer the TA03 ball diff over the M05 ball diff. Around our tracks in australia people have been modifying the M05 ball diff quite heavily so that it has a thicker screw and better diff nut. Sometimes this means they have to widen the hole in the out drives. BLEAH! |

http://store.hkshobby.com/index.php?...1e25df4c0099bc I race with Mardaves a lot of the time, Which are fast and strong, some have big plastic bumpers sticking out of the front and I’m still on the same shell. Being lower and light, body weight nearer to the chassis. Down the straight don’t think body makes much difference on a Mini with silver or black can motor. This is only my view but thought I could go faster in to corners with out it rolling over, and if it dose most of the time rolls back on its wheels. You need the rear spoiler so you know the front from the back  . RC-Mart does a good deal on two bodies. http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/rc-min...e-p-29525.html |

I haven't bad dealings with them, but I have had REALLY slow delivery from RC Mart. Other people sing RC Mart's praises. So, I don't know why some people have trouble with different companies. It would be nice if these companies really focused on customer service.
