With RcMart you need choose EMS delivery. I always get my stuff in three days. It's expensive but I usually wait until I place a big order so it's worth it to me. Once I ordered from Rcmart and tower at the same time and got my Rcmart order first.
HKS just ignores you and your lucky if you get your stuff. If you call them and they pick up and you try to talk to them about your order they hang up and never answer again. Caller ID. I missed a very important race due to their lack of respect. Never again. |
That really stinks with HKS. You think that they would work extra hard in today's economic world. In reference to RC Mart with other Asian based companies, I've had much faster service from other companies. There's a guy who sells a lot of Tamiya stuff on Ebay and he is really fast.

I know what you mean.
I've tired antiware grease before and what as mess that made. Never the less FG grease has just arrived and I must say it's very, very thick. I'm just going to wait a while now before putting it in :sneaky: Yeah Yeah I know and as I kind of expected anyway; it came back out  However up to that point though it was like a missile  |
The fastest and cheapest standard shipping I've gotten from RC MART is through Ebay. They have most of their stuff up. The shipping seems to be lower then the site and because they need good feedback I usually get stuff within a week. I get most of my stuff from HKS, but I pick it up since I live a few blocks away. Most of the time they have everything in stock or get it in within a week.

For the gear diffs, try using an automotive wheel bearing grease.

Anyone willing to provide a baseline carpet set-up for an m05? (using Tamiya tires)
Thanks in advance! |
I am running the same set up that is used for on road asphalt racing.
60wt in the front and 50wt in the rear, ride height 4mm. of course my set up is TCS legal, that what our club runs. |

I have a M-03 and was wondering what shocks might fit please. I was thinking about GPM TT050 50mm shocks as aftermarket items. Or am I better with 55mm shocks? Are Tamiya CVA mini shocks II 50 or 55mm? Sorry if this info has already been covered somewjere in this thread. Thankyou and have a good weekend Ian |

Anyone besides me notice in the set up sheet posted above that the pictures of the car don't match the set up sheet? Look at the camber links.
Has anyone had any luck using the lower mount on the inner front camber link? I tried it once but got a lot of bump steer that I didn't like. I also find it interesting that with the exception of the springs, the front and rear shocks are built the same. Makes me wonder if this is the whole truth. Also take note that he is using a gear diff. ;) |

Are they running high speed gear sets too? 25t pinion? I'm just used to TCS and have only used 20t. |
