Problem is I used that already. Haha... Yup. ANyway thanks for all the inputs on the possible reasons why the car will act crazy. I will try to compile a list of possible faults to allow all to troubleshoot their cars in the future.

Tony, have you ever tried the old Ride tires on carpet? If so, how good or bad were they?

No idea I'm afraid. We've only had a carpet track just recently and all we ever run are 'S' and 'M' grips or the Xpress Mini treads.
And lets face it, old Ride tyres aren't exactly thick on the ground any more..
(No comment from you Mr Fisher either! )

I'm glad I could finish my competition day with some great driving ... but it's very puzzling not to know what happened.
When acting crazy, the car sometimes steered off, and sometimes it was as it added a dot of full trottle when i was releasing the trigger in the corners. ??
SO it was on steering AND trottle that problesm occured.
About O-rings in my outdrives: I checked those and they were still fine.
I talked it through with some other drivers and they said it could have to do with the spektrum-reciever needing a spektrum-condensator.
later i found out that its not a servo saver problem, nor a reciever problem(2.4G or Fm), but a silly front wheel bearing where 1 side bearing is slightly thighter than the other.....this cause the 1 side wheel to spin less that the other which cause the car will steer to 1 side.....
it happen to me 2 time, i replace the bearing with a spare, it swap ok all the way....can also be fix by cleaning the bearing.....
can try....and see if this can help.....

I have found that the old style Ride tyres,(square profile tyre) seem to work the best on the front and the new round profile tyre on the rear.
I use either the Ride 'S' or 3023/3030's to work on the front with a green ride insert and the rear spice 32 with Tamiya foam or 5mm spice insert.
This is for asphalt surfaces. I haven't tried them on carpet. I normally run M grips all round on carpet.
As Tony said though, these tyres are now gone. Some of us have a secret stash....

Yeah Matt but the X patterns don't work as well at Radical on the carpet...
And I have to say, most of the recent X patterns aren't anywhere near as good as the 'old school' ones used to be.. Ahh memories...

They're on my cars as we speak Bob... 36's all round.
And I don't care how many Pits you get in Greg, Tony Parreiro's probably still got more...
Rumour is that it was his stockpile that ruined supply of that special chemical!

Was exploring my car with all the possible problems (Inputs from you guys). Discovered that the red spongey thingy has depressed to quite a great extent. That might be the problem why my car went crazy. Gonna test the car out next weekend at my local race.
