What is a good cement to glue inner sponge ? I have tried CA glue, and it certainly didn't work at all . I am wondering which contact cement works the best for inner sponge.

q for the carpet runners.. how much droop do you typically run front and rear? i think mine is limited too much in the back, but i wanted to get a few more ideas before taking it apart again...
Wes I have increased my droop to having only 3mm inside the shock. I was running 6-7mm, but after changing over to 3mm I think the car handled better. It increased my ride height but when I pick up the car, the tires really don't drop down too much, so I think I have found that happy medium for my car. L8R Marker |

Actually I don't glue my foam inserts at all, I tape them. A strip of electrical tape on the inside and the outside radius keeps them in place just fine and doesnt leave a hard spot like most glue. I do this for the Tamiya foam strips as well as sedan inserts (that are cut down to size).
I race my mini (MO3-R) on carpet and I'm running about 3MM of droop in front and about 5MM in the back. When I was running the car in short mode I ran less drop in back. The car would lift its inside rear wheel in the turns but it never rolled. Which not only looked cool/realistic but was also the fastest way around the sweepers at my local track. |
Thank you very much for the inner sponge tips. I will get some electric tape and see how it works.

Finally, it's here..
The TECH RACING DD-M Mini. Looks like a mini, but sure doesn't go like a Mini. Click here to read our full review on what might be the hottest Mini to hit the tracks for years. http://home.iprimus.com.au/anthonygr...ini12_copy.jpg |
I have just picked up a FF02 kit from a closing down sale and found that it is a MO3-XL (extra long), it looks like the only difference is longer suspension arms and dog bones. I was thinking of making it as an MO3 (short) with longer suspension arms to see how it will handle.

I just bought an M03M and will be racing it in two weeks. I am trying to find some s-grip tires. towerhobbies (and therefore great plains) is out. All the sites I've visited seem to have these on back order. Does anyone know of someplace that has them instock where I can get them in 7 days? Or anyone selling some?
