We all run the standard arms...

The Cross and Tech arms are really just pointless bling, they don't really do anything, just look cool.
They might save a few grams (we havent weighted them) but the standard items are strong as, and we reckon thats more important.

Really ?? I thought the material is kinda hard suspension arms for Tamiya TA04/05 ....
From the glance I see the tech racing is tough enough for abuse .....

I'll have to correct you on that one hehe I have not broken the arms as such but have torn the bottom front shock mount of a couple of mini arms. It was a long time ago and might have been when I was running without a front bumper in the endless search for saving weight.

I can break anything...

Also thanks Andrew! I was trying to avoid traction compound, but it looks like I'll have to get some.
I run hard molded insert (53435) and then I stuff a hard foam insert (53255) in as well. The tires are super stiff and there is hardly any sidewall flex.

HEY...

Before I order one, what is the difference between a "J-stock" motor and a "M-stock" motor? Guessing it has something to do with the subsequent "K-L Development", but...

You know, that makes a lot of sense. Is one or the other preferred? Are they both TCS-legal or is one or the other?

Thanks,

Overall Johnson motors perform better than the Mabuchis, though you can find a Mabuchi that is an exception to the rule.
