I'm sure we'll be seeing some used M-03 kits posted on the Buy/Sell area within the next few months, people will likely be dropping their existing semi-hopped chassis for the R kit's alloy uprights and the chance for a fresh set of parts.

Questions on the ABC Genetic and the Atlas belt version...

Has anyone tried running these on standard touring tyres? Any clearance issues, can the ride height be made sensible?

Also, what current bodies suit full-size touring tyres. I used to have an HPI Golf which cleared them, HPI Civic was almost there, I suppose the Yokomo Stratus would be hard to find now?

The Northcraft 'comic' bodies are designed for Touring Car tyres on Minis and look pretty cool.
Active Hobby also make a couple that will suit the big wheels.
Dont know about putting the big wheels on either of those cars though. We havent tried it.
The Active Hobby Mini Fan 4WD Mini comes standard with big wheels though so that might be an alternative.

A faster Servo can produce traction roll?
 

I have a Futaba S9451 Servo on my mini, the servo speed can make the car traction roll?
I have it set at 100% speed on the radio
I was thinking of changing to Futaba S9550?

what kind of servos do you guys have?

I have a Futaba S148 in one of my M-03 cars and a JR Z4750 in the other.

We use the S9451 and S9550. there's really no performance difference between the two. if you want a smaller lighter servo then go for it but it will not influence your traction rolling. Try lowering ride height, wheel spacers on the rear wheels, Place your electronics inside the chassis, hard inserts and glued well to tire walls and don't hit those corners too hard!

As for the tubes, I'm afraid no. But if they don't check, you can go to hardware store and find a hose for pumping the tires .... it should have smaller diameter hole.... Check by compressing the tube and find the soft to medium, not the hard one. Next, try to bend it. If it comes back quick to it's original shape...you've find the right one...... :) .... be sure to get the same color as the stock tubing from tamiya.....

wish A servo could stop a mini from rolling ide go to tcs with a box of em and make a killing but it's not the case its all setup ;)

Tony--have you seen/owned any of these bodies? Very interested in the NSU TT from Active Hobby. Any idea how one from the US would buy one of these?

I've got ALL of the Northcraft shells, and a couple of the Active Hobby ones too. But not the NSU TT (man that's an ugly mother...)

No-one will keep that in stock, but either Rainbow Ten or rc-champ will do a special order for you.

Yeah, not amazingly handsome...think early Corvair, but smaller. Hopefully it fits the M02 or M04 chassis as the original is rear engine/rear drive. When they were raced "in the day" they had the lid propped up like the Abarths they raced with. They were also reasonably successful.
