Is that your only objection?

Hi all,
So I've been looking into this chassis as a class will be opening up in a somewhat local on road track. Just wondering what some of the must have hop ups would be good to begin with or would it be more beneficial to go straight to the pro 2 kit? Cheers.

On a thread I opened. Giga mentioned how the v2 chassis is required to run standard stick pack lipos. What batteries are able to be run in the v1 kit? As it will be in a 13.5t mini class.

You'd need a rounded hard case stick pack. I've got a Gens Ace 4000 25C rounded hard case pack that fits my M03.

I'd say minimum hop-ups would be bearings, servo saver, dampers and steering. A diff too if your rules allow it.

Ah ok then. Cheers. I have the same gens ace battery. So as long as it doesn't have square corners it's all good?

OK Mr M Racing, can this one tempt you? Yokomo MR4-TC Mini.

Cheers. I have the YR shock package and drive train steering upgrade package in a cart atm. Bearing kits are made by a few different companies it seems which is good. Only rules I've been able to find so far, as that it needs to be fwd, limited turn motor and 2s.

I can imagine sakadachi getting in on that full carbon 4WD mini action

I'd recommend Plaig Bearings. Free delivery in Australia. They've even got an M05 complete bearing kit available.

Before going nuts with upgrade packages, you might want to know that most clubs in Australia run rules that only allow upgrades made by Tamiya, or have an equivalent Tamiya option (with some exceptions). Not sure if your club is going to run that. Check out the rules listed on the SERCCC website for a guideline.

Yea I've done a little research. I run Plaig in my Tekno gear. Great bearings.

Uhhhh cheers. It will be getting possible runs at bayswater. And maybe in Kalgoorlie if we can get it started. Apparently alot of the people here run the YR hop ups on them and are allowed. But there are no rules under AARCMCC, but I'll have a look at the ones you posted.

 Already got a new chassis for this winter. :D I'm going to limit myself to not buying anything more this season besides maintenance stuff.

But this offer isn't going to wait for next season. Stick it in the closet and unwrap it next year :sneaky:
