I've always felt proper "car stands" are overrated, unnecessary cost, and what I've used for most of my various cars over the years is a big fat carwash sponge, available at any bigbox store for a couple of dollars, and cut it to fit around wheels and such with some scissors or a hobby knife. Molds itself to the chassis, and any "not-flat" areas. :D

Spic oil filled Gear diff

So I've been running this for a few weeks now, and so far, it sucks. It leaks, and on the right side of the diff (the one that the screws go in) the gear pops off the pin that holds it to the outdrive and has managed to kill the shim under it.

I'll be ordering the 3 racing unit when feral gets them back in stock.

Are there any oil filled gear diffs that can fit the M03?

Thanks!

None at this time. The issue is with the internal bearing size difference between the MO3 and MO5.

I have not heard of anyone thinking about making a MO3 oil diff as most, not all have moved onto the MO5.

Your best bet would be to stick to the TAO3 ball diff.

Regards,

Calvin.

Hobbypartz has a 4000mah 25c Gens ace lipo for only $20.00 that works great. Free shiping on orders of $50.00 or more.(U.S.)

I'm using those gens packs in my m05 and they work great! They drop about 1000-1100mah per 5min run for me. My gens ace in my tc are awesome too.

option front shock tower

Does this front tower(M05) really make that much difference?
If so how does it affect the handling. Are softer springs used?
Any input is appreciated-- thanks

For those using the Gen Ace packs from HobbyPartz, how do you guys mount the battery in the M05? The balance wires gets in the way of the battery holder.

I use one in mine and it works good with speed to spare.

Use the holder from an m03(it makes motor and battery removal much easier too). You can trim/dremel the m05 cover to clear the wires also.

its essentially the same size and similar specs as the Futaba 9550/9551 - and those things rock in 10th TC :)

like the other dude said, more then enough for a mini

I run a spektrum 590 servo that came with my DXR3 in my mo6, and it works great! And those servo's cost what, 10 -15 dollars? Besides, imo you don't want something to strong or two fast for these cars. I believe it upsets them too much.
