Don't believe the hype! Unless you're racing at a national level, the stock ESC will do fine. We've got guys running stock or, at the very least, really cheap ESCs and winning.

Definately a flying wedge shape to me. So is it going to be legal by our rules...Might be alright for clubbies, but maybe not for Titles and National events. I really like the shape, just need to see in the flesh.

So i bought my M05 used and it is set up at the 210mm length and i think i want to go to the 225mm length. Do i just adjust something on the vehicle or do i need to buy some different parts?

Thanks for any help :D

All the parts are in the kit. The instructions are a little confusing.

I bought the car already put together with no box or parts

Fluffy622,

It is just a case of reversing the bottom chassis part that has the inner hinge pin in it and moving the top parts back one hole on the upper rear deck. You also need to reverse the upper hub link.

See attached link for the manual.

http://www.tamiya.com/english/rc/rcmanual/m05pro.pdf

From the manual pay attention to instructions 17,18,19 and 20 on page 9 and 11 for the SWB/MWB. Theinstructions for the MO5 and MO5 Pro are the same for these steps. I also suggest running the top hole in the rear hub if you have the alloy rear hubs.

Regards,

Calvin.

Our TCS event is this weekend and I'm having some surprise battery issues. What's the latest high-zoot, amazo, gotta-have-it battery pack for Mini's these days?

Thanks!
Doc

IP 3800 lipos Doc.

Used and recommmended by rc-mini! ;)

mo6 rear shock tower

I mounted the rear shock tower on the front side of the lower shock tower mount. Oddly enough reversing the way shocks mounted up as well. This should make it a lot easier to adjust the rear camber. Has any one else done this with there mo6?

Well, it wouldn't be an rc-mini road trip without something weird going on...

Find out what THIS is, plus there might even be something about the racing as well in our report on the 2011 ACT Titles.
