Thanks, Tony. Appreciate the help.

Lipo's for mini.
IP 4200 40 C fitted with Tamiya plug or changed to Deans IP 3800 50 C with corally plugs only These would be the most popular with mini racers. The 3800's require you to use open type battery retainers as used on the MO3. The MO5 you need to change the battery holders. |

There's a new Protoform 225mm body. Sorry, for the poor quality of the pictures. You can see a better view at the Protoform website.

Congrats on your 2nd place finish there James, now pass me over the vertigo pills please :D
I think somebody needs to teach your camera man how to hold that video camera a bit more stable! Talk about dizzy lizzy Cheers! |
Tony P, I think what happened to Tony G's gearbox and the battery life shortage are related. Carpet is tough on gearboxes and, given the greatly reduced wheelspin from asphalt, it's harder on batteries, too.
Why didn't Tony just fix his M-03? They're good cars that way: just replace the broken bits and go. That's about a 30 minute endeavour, tops. BTW: Minus 5? That's it? Pffft! Then again, I'd keel over at +45, so I guess we're even. Jim |

Well, it wouldn't be an rc-mini road trip without something weird going on...
Find out what THIS is, plus there might even be something about the racing as well in our report on the 2011 ACT Titles. http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/p...Canberra37.jpg Click HERE to see it all |

Fix the car? Why, when I had a perfectly good brand new one there anyway...that was only a 5 minute job! That's why I take 3 cars with me....
Future events the chassis wil be marked and checked :D:D:D |
Lucky I dont race anywhere under AARCMCC rules then...
Actually, on a Mini they'd need to mark anywhere up to 6 chassis parts wouldn't they! |
Have a surprise package rom Champ waiting to be picked up from the post office.... I wonder what it will contain.

Some more pictures of the choice parts. The new external motor mount is 8mm thick, which is the same for the bottom rear suspension mount with the built in 1 degree of rear toe. The carbon fibre front shock tower is 3mm thick.
