Tamiya mini cooper
G'day Bob,
The Mini Cross rims are very good and come in a packet of eight. I use these most with all types of tyres. The only rims that require a special rim are the new Ride inch up 60D size tyre.
Later,
Calvin.

Just pick up a M05 yesterday what hop up should I get first and tires for WCRC and Tamiya track?
Just a little fyi....I recently bought a set of sweep rims and a pair of Tamiya 60d slicks. The sweep rims are slightly taller than the factory Tamiya rims and they caused the Tamiya slicks outer edges to sit higher than the middle of the tread. It's best to check the tread profile BEFORE gluing up a set of mismatched rims/tires. I ended up having to use the tamiya rims with the Tamiya tires for proper fit.

aluminum steering rack parts and bearings for it and aluminum shocks with spring kit. The other stuff you dont really need.

The aluminum motor plate is a good upgrade, but not absolutely needed. Of course bearings. I'm not a big fan of the Tamiya servo saver and would replace that with a mid sized Kimbrough. There are a few others, but you can pick those up as you get familiar with the car.
Tires for WCR are still being sorted out, but the best handling cars seem to be using Sweep 40s or 33s. The fastest car out there is using an Atomic 36/32 combo. However, Tony Tam is probably as responsible for the speed as the tire.

Well, in Europe (or Norway...) we order from rcmart.com, rc-champ.co.jp or any other Asian shop where the best prices are...
Hi, just for laughs. Taken in middle of the Tamiya Asia Cup finals held in Singapore this weekend. M05s dominated the M06s.
