Even though our motors are exclusively speced in USVTA, we have still endeavored to keep costs reasonable for the racers. You can get a RMF SS Pro 25.5 for 54.99. Racers can always return old Novak motors (any wind) and trade them for another SSP motor for 42.00 or exchange to our re-buildable Ballistic for 60.00. We instituted this program immediately to allow USVTA racers with old 21.5T motors to exchange to the new 25.5s cheaply.
Same with our escs---we sell RMF versions at steep discounts and quickly Replace/Exchange them for our customers. No other R/C company has developed such comprehensive programs for their customers. We have customized our motors and affordable combos for the series and instituted a Dealer program so that shops can participate.

For those of us who are really into VTA We thank NOVAK Really you have given new life to many Older chassis, Brought Loads of new onroad racers to the fold.
Really without support from vendors like yourself this would not be possible.
I installed a speed passion system today, WOW what a p.o.s. Any chance Novak will take it in trade?
For a $55 brushless ESC, it's a really nice piece to me. I know a lot of guys are using these with little or no issue. It's not a $200 Tekin, but it was never intended to be—it's a low cost, spec speedo.

Mine is a pre Citrix SP speed controller. It basically is a Citrix but before they called them that. Will probably go with the Novak just because they have great combos. Then again I have a tired Novak SS13.5 that is now perfect trade in fodder. So I guess I could just keep the SP and trade the 13.5 for the VTA motor.

+1 i'd like to know how he deemed it a POS...especially if he's racing it in a VTA that follows the rules to a "T"...granted, you do need the programming box to adjust some of the other things that can be changes in the citrix - but its still a decent speedo

Anyone ever actually raced an HPI E10 in VTA? If the answer is yes, send me a PM and let me know what you did to make the E10 more durable. I'm racing this car in a different local class but it is similar speeds to VTA.
For the record, I'm still running my FT TC4. Had a great day today with it taking TQ & win against some good local competition!!!

i know at least one more guy that's gonna have a J71 for the nats
aside from I had to order it directly from Protoform and not get it thru my local shop PF was nice enuff to put markings on the body to show you where you need to run the bead of shoe-goo (2nd pic)
the molding lines are nice - shows you exactly where the stripes on the hood and roof need to be run

I can't get it to do anything. It is not as user friendly as I was led to belive that is was.

I had a small issue with mine when I first bought it. Finally, I did the unmanly thing and carefully read the instructions AND looked at the diagrams and the thing has worked great ever since.Keep at it, you'll get it.
