Finally got a chance to race tonight - Indy Slots in Beech Grove/Indianapolis. I really didn't know what to expect with 4-cell stock, but I was pleasantly surprised with how fast it was.
I had about 5 people ask about what kind of car we were running and the rules. I'm kicking myself for not printing off a few rule sheets. Next time I'll come prepared.
I'm not sure if anyone is running an old HPI PRO 2, but I'd be interested to hear some opinions on a good base setup. I think that I was running too stiff of springs. The car didn't roll much but was really on the loose side. I might try the stock manual setup, but it probably is designed to run on a parking lot.

Also agree with Indy on the VTA series. Ran with him Friday night at slots, and had a great time.
I did have trouble choosing a gear for 4-cell, though. What kind of FDR would you guys recomend for a tight, small carpet track- 35' * 65' with fast laps around 10.4? 27T only.

I shoe-glued it inside, then wrap around it on the outside. And I shoe-glue the WHOLE FRONT end for reinforcment. Not to mention, added the extra weight that I will need to be legal....

Oh yeah....shoe-glue / Goop are a lot better...almost everytime I see TA race, there are rear bumpers on the track....(me too..happened at the national)
