Finally a answer to the spektrum! My guess would be all manufactures will be switching to 2.4MHz. Looks like a simply plug in module and receiver, wounder if it will work with exhisting 3PK's? So now its official we've gone from synthesized 75 & 27, to 2.4MHz in less than 2 years! Wonder whats next.

from what I here.. it should work with existing 3Pk's.
they are sold as a complete system or seperately...

next on the horizon is telepathic rc driving...
or Virtual reality Rc racing... inboard cameras and we all were those
funny looking monitor goggles...

are you using battery tape or the stock battery bar?
if the bar..did you place some foam under the bar?

Soon as I'm done..hopefully this weekend...
I'll post some pics on what I'm tinkering with for the batteries.

Do you use the battery holder? I shoo-goo tire insert underneath the battery holder where it holds the batteries. It has worked well for me. The insert holds down the battery tighter. Hold that helps.

I agree with you about any possibility of a new HPI car. Maybe they still have to stick with shaft drive?

Tape I found to be more secure than the battery strap.

Cyclone is the new belt drive car of HPI/HB for 2005 - 2007. The Pro5 will be the replacement of the Pro4 next year. It will still be driven by shaft. HPI will not compete their cars from one another when they release the Pro5. But giving more options to drivers who wants belt driven or shaft driven just like Yokomo's BD & SD.

By the time the Pro5 arrives on the Hobbyshops shelves, I'll surely get one especially when the Hara edition comes out, but still keep and race my Pro4 against all odds.
