Something like that I guess but it definitely will be better. I have so much trust and respect to HPI. That's why many people as well are confident with their upcoming products.

Always check your car thoroughly every after hard impacts. The bevels, spool or oneway, main shaft, steering posts, and screws under the chassis that hold the diff case and pivot blocks. Make sure that every screw under the plate are tight enough and pivot blocks are intact. So your suspension arms won't wiggle.

Actually this car has been out for years... what's cool is the prototype Pro4 had parts (the bulkheads and diffs) from this car way back when the Pro4 was being first conceived and tested. Too bad because of cost I'm sure HPI resorted to the plastic bulkheads The Barracuda could hold tweak better than any car out there.

Aw man I loved that car. I got into the A main at Reedy with it. I'm tempted to pick one up again (the limited edition) but true maybe the Pro4 is better

i remember seeing a pro4 with the same battery/motor layout like the barracuda, revised upper deck, carbon fiber drive shaft, etc...... it was called the PRO4 2005ed "KATSUO" Special. i don't know if it was a one-off or what, but they posted pics of it in the 11/05 RC World...

I think HPI understands the market pretty well, They could have easily made the MSRP on the HARA edition $900USD, with a street price around $450. I picked up mine for $349 + Free S&H from ultimate, cant beat that! That is still why people are buying HPI. I will definately be buying a Pro5 when it comes out. Hopefully they just adjust for market increases like they do with the Savage series, not market value which right now is over inflated just like real estate.
