Also, the proportion of the lengths of the front and rear short arms are different when comparing the original LW arms to the Evo V short LW arms. The front short arms are made shorter than how the original LW arms were proportioned.

hey guys ran my 416 for the first time yesterday and man it was solid, i did make changes and i think it helped...

front kick up 2mm
and a weight balanced lipo. (duh)

as far as im concerned i think the box set up is tops... im going to stick with it... the next area that i would like to consentrate on is the FLEX!! this was my major problem yesterday...

do you know what i could do to remove some flex from the chassis? any help would be appreciated.. ANY

The 416 is designed to flex. It's different from older cars in that the flex is symmetrical which results in predictable handling characteristics.

The two piece deck with the rear brace would remove flex from the rear, but I think there are better ways to free the rear up. If the box set up you are reffering to is the WE , ditch the F block in the rear and use D or E

I'm loving my 416WE the more I drive it It does flex quite a bit but I know it supposed too and it helps a ton for traction. Even when the traction went away yesterday at our local track, I was able to control it with ease. i just got to hyper driving it and made some mistakes.

I haven't measured it, but with D/D blocks and 1mm spacers the front is comfortably narrower than 190 with the short arms

where can I find the translation sheet that converts the retarded letters on the toe blocks to numbers (degrees of toe)?

The blocks are numbbered and lettered. The starting from the narowest ....
the letters go in reverse from 1XC I think is the narowest . from each consecutive wider block adds a half degree of toe.
1XB, 1XA, 1X, 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E and now theres a 1F.
1XB + 1D = 3 degrees

ok cool, the issue is not freeing the rear up, its the over heating tyres, we run foam tyres on asphalt so thats the issue... i have some idea's which im going to try this weekend... thanks for the advice.

yes its the box WE set up, with a couple of changes, ..... i have some development going on the car and will report on the changes on tuesday next week..

do we know of any after market reseller with a foam bottom deck..
