I don't read this board all that often anymore and rarely write anything. Think we need to wait for the lipo rules and weight limits to settle worldwide before we see a 417...

Don't worry Chris. As kentech said, that's a 200 yen difference in list price which is less than $3.

I have some info on the 416X from Champ:
"Tamiya says this kit will be including newly designed lower deck (2.25mm thick), upper deck (2mm thick), front & rear lower bulkheads, motor mount, center bulkhead motor mount support and rear belt. This kit will be released around December."

Turn your dual rate down a little if you need to, make the car a little easier to drive just so you can have a full run without crashing. Since IIC is rocket round qualifying, nobody has secured a position until the last run of today is over. Good luck!
