First time on the rug with the T2008 US edition at the IIC. I was pretty happy with the car, getting slightly faster every time out on the track. Drew Ellis helped with set up (definitely a few strange settings) all week long and I felt like he, Peeler and EA had the best 13.5 foam cars there. Congrats to those guys for making the main!

It was also my first time running Lipo and I was able to get my fitment figured out relatively easily. EA is making some soon-to-be available 5 and 6 cell machined plates to fit into the standard T2 chassis slots...my car was coming in at about 10-12 grams above the minimum. The plate is stainless steel and I ended up gluing it directly to my Lipo pack. I had to modify my Trinity Lipo case just slightly to allow for fit...anyway, considering I get to run carpet once a year, I was pleased with a 12th place finish and I am looking forward to running this car on carpet again very soon.

Thanks guys for all the replies about the springs. My next concern is i will be running lipo's. i realy don't want to put the weight directly to the batteries as i wish to use them in diffrent vehicles. does anyone make like a tray with weight on it? If not what is everyone doing? pics would be a great help.I'm trying to get ready for when the car gets here.next is what batteries will fit in the car? I will be getting the 008 6cell eu what is the measurment from the top of the chassis to the bottom of the top plate? I'm trying to keep the cost of going to lipo's down. I don't want to buy something and then it not fit properly. Thanks in advance,Neil
