I have just purchased an T2 008 Xray 6 cell EU model and I need some help sourcing pinions and spurs in Australia. I am more than happy to buy them off the net. Any suggestions on sites? I have bought quite a few spares off of amainhobbies but they dont have the gears I need. I am running 540pro and need the following gears:

305732 32t/48 pinion
305733 33T/48 pinion
305778 Spur Gear 78T/48

Any help would be appreciated. The only place I have found so far is the xray shop but they dont appear to ship to Australia.

Thanks

ampdraw has a tremendously terrible web store. "Spurs and Pinions" is TWENTY-SIX pages, which is totally useless. Moreover, I can't even tell them how to make it better because I have no way of contacting anyone at that store. Bad, bad website.

Ampdraw is not that bad... but I have seen better. You just have to narrow down your search.... search "pinion" and then pick your manufacturer... "XRay" or who ever and it narrows things down a lot.
I have had good luck with Ampdraw in the past.

Their search is returning exactly what you asked for, every spur and pinion in their store. Try narrowing it down to a manufacturer. For example, search for spur and set manufacturer to xray, you get 31 items.

I don't want to narrow it down to a brand. I want 64 pitch spurs, and only 64 pitch spurs. That's a pretty fundamental category in sorting a webstore's listings.

If you don't like shopping there don't shop there....There are plenty of places to shop online I just suggested that because I know that Shane stocks all of Xray product and ships anywhere and it looked like Niskie was looking for Xray spurs and pinons those are Xray part numbers..Later Drew

Uh.... I just typed "64 pitch" in the search box and all the 64 pitch spurs and pinions were shown... I then put in "XRay" in the manufacturers box and only the XRay 64 pitch gears showed up... then I added "spur" and just the 64p spurs showed up.... not rocket science Looks like it does exactly what your asking if you use it right

Do any one have problems breaking the bearings in the left rear hub.
(Most of our tracks in UK ar clockwise).
Bearings are regulary cleaned and oiled but still wear out/break about
ever 2 to 3 months.

Is any one running a spacer between bearings like over manufacturers.

Also does any one now of a good cheap suppler of the 5x10x4 rubber sealed
bearings. In UK they cost $11.00 USD for two bearings.

Hey Niskie,

Give the distributor in Australia a call. Call Custom Model Cars on 02 9579 4007 and ask for Matt. He will point you in the right direction.

I used to run TMīs E4 car erlier, but have ordred a 008 Xray..is there anything special that i should keep in mind?

What is the most common parts that brake,is it the usually, steering knuckles, rear hubs, arms, ballends and T-buckles? how about belts?

A small lists would be real good, since im going to order all parts for the season today or tomorrow.
