Bearings are the same, all of them, from the '007 and '008. The wheel bearing size is 5x10x4mm.

Right, sorry, I failed to read the Alum part, but I use Team Tamale Rear hubs which use standard 5x10x4 bearings instead of the 5x9x3 for the Xray hubs.

Still have it. Broke a strut the other day (defective part) and that popped one of the air bags for the suspension. Fixing that now and selling it asap. I'll get a pic up in the next day or two. I'll make you a good deal

Cuffs is a good man...

It will not fit under the top deck. Most people are running it parallel with the rear bulkheads. So the pack actually hangs over the side of the chassis a bit. The 4000 will fit under the deck.

If you guys feel the need for a 5000mah cap lipo that will fit under the topdeck on the 008 try going to www.demonpowerproducts.co.uk as he has stock of his own batt that will fit.

It wont fit but I still run it because I have tested many different lipos and feel this one by far has the most power. So I hang it off the chassis and add the lead to balance it to the inside and have had good luck with that!

You can also add 1.5mm shims to the top of the bulk head and it will not affect performance. I used the silver shims that come with the kit for the Hinge pin mounts. The front ones will have to have one side flattened out a bit so the dont hit the shock tower mounts. The rears are just big enough that they catch the layshaft mounts perfect. Then the lipo will fit perfect.

For foam tires this may not work as it may or may not add extra flex. just from bench testing and feeling the chassis with and without spacers I can not tell a difference. Cant tell a difference on the track either. Rubber tire asphalt.
