Is there a good setup for an R3 on asphalt outdoors, modified racing, using two normal diffs, i.e. front and rear. Just to have other ideas

Will be working on such a setup too, and will post it here once the cuda is handling great

Bling bling, KO pimped cuda. The tape on the reciever is holding the cap away from the shaft, i wasnt going to risk not fastening it down as theres only a few mm between the two.

RcMonk your Cuda was almost silent running on the track last night. It was so quite I had to see if you had a belt setup on it or not. Mine was never that quite. No one would ever know you had a shaft car.

Hey guys...one issue I had last week...
I took the rubber tires off the car to put foams on, and on the front and rear, the 28mm foams rubbed the ball links... do you have to run the low profile hubs front and rear in order to run foams??

Cool!! Sometimes you can't really tell if your car is quiet or not from the drivers stand plus a whole bunch of other cars buzzing around. Yeah, I cleaned all the gears and the whole drivetrain before heading to the race. Too bad I wasn't as fast as I wanted to be.

@RCMonk: Did you received the outdrives before the weekend? Did you tested them?

Hell mine where never that quite. I wasn't near as fast as I thought I should be. My car was slow and didn't steer well. Car sucked all night long. I had no rip.

Any ideas on my foam clearance probs guys?? I need to set up two more cars for the Tempe carpet track, but only had the one set of low profile hubs. I'm thinking if I change those 'shock end' style tierod ends to the ball cup style, they might clean... Any ideas?

Thanks!

The PAL/ALEX hub is the only way.. unless you want to try out TC4 C-hubs up front and Pro4 hubs in the Rear

I guess I'm confusef as to why someone would manufacture a car that you can run foam tires on out of the box...

I guess if I don't have any other choice I'll have to buy two sets... anyone have a spare set or two they'd be willing to lose?

Thanks!!

PAL no longer makes the Small hub... but ALEX Racing Does now..... Hit up Master "STEVE" at Speedtech to see if he can get them for you

In Japan where the car comes from they run rubber tires so clearance is never a problem.

I think I want to run rubber tires more this year. Most tracks run foams but I will be looking o run rubber tires more because I'm getting sick of cutting foams down to almost nothing to race with and get one week out of them.
