Are those Team suzuki knuckles or Speed Racing?

Thanks and good luck with your new ride!

That is why I got the LCG even after I got the BD.
My first love was shaft drive and especially for stock, but my skill is coming up (ever so slowly but coming up none the less) so I wanted a car that could handle the move to 19T and eventually MOD.
I don't think I will need another car upgrade for a couple of years.
There is so much technolegy wraped inside these little cars now adays that to improve on them will take another two years at least.
Just my tow pennies, use them to help fund you cause...LOL

as usual, very sound advise... thank you...

my first love is modified, so i'll probably use the BD more...

i'll use those two pennies very wisely...

Default RC Noob w/ ?

Hi,

I recently upgraded my ssg to the lcg and know im unable to get my ride height lowered beyond 5.5mm. Im using the yokomo dampers(aluminum bodies) w/ stainless springs. The dampers are using rayspeed all around badders w/ rayspeed piston rings(1mm 2 hole) with 40wt oil. I have loosened the collars all the way to the top to no avail.(springs sloppy on shaft) Still does not drop. Any reason for this? Any and all help much appreciated.

its my understanding that along with the lower top deck you also get lowered shock towers. you didn't say but with all that rayspeed stuff i'm sure your using rayspeed spring retainers, you may have to use yok springs with the rayspeed retainers, this is just a guess as i don't have the car, check back a page or two, maybe the question as already been asked and answered

Take out all the travel limiters inside of your shock. Your shock should be in the mid 60mm range. With atleast 15mm of travel.

Default Travel Limiters?

hi,

Would the travel limiter be the insert that looks like a triangle which rests at the base of the damper(inside). In regards to the other reply I have tried rayspeed springs to no avail. Currently im using the stainless yokomo springs as u suggested. I will remove the limiter and report back. Thanks

that triangle piece is NOT a limiter. it is a shock shaft guide. it will effect how far out the shock rod comes not how far up it goes. when you said you had rayspeed, pistons and bladders...... i was assuming you had rayspeed retainers as well. if your using the yok springs and yok retainers then you may need to use the rayspeed retainers, if you don't have any or access to any real quick, try other brands, hpi, tamiya, assoc. maybe one of those will work as a temp fix.

pro 4, are you sure about the 15mm of shock travel, seems like a lot
