The Yokomo 1/12 car is pretty nice on asphalt. Mo is running his here at the NORRCA nats this weekend and is qualified 2nd, I qualified 3rd in sedan mod with my SD. Another local racer is TQ of expert stock with an SD as well. I'll let you know how the mains go tomorrow.

thegame- the handout spec tire is a Sorex 36 with the sorex firm B insert. I've been running the spool in the front and it seems to be pretty good. I'll give my setup to Mo and see if he can post it on his website after this weekend. Mo already has David Goss's setup on his site, Goss is TQ of expert stock right now with the SD.

Sounds like the car is doing pretty well at the races, hoping mine does just as good.

I'm by no means a factory caliber driver and the only two people ahead of me are Matt Francis and Lloyd Dasonville. I think the car is doing pretty good already

Matt- Good luck today. I wish I could have been there with you but these darn radio hits really suck when they happen to you. The speedworld cup should be a different story since we get to run what ever tire and insert we want. See ya in about and hour.

I have always mounted the transponder in the front bumper, however with this car, having the 6 cells on one side, and the electronics on the other, I am going to find the perfect balance point of the car and mount it there.

I drilled a hole right behind the antenna mount and put a yokomo transponder mount there. This way it in the center of the chassis and it's still lower than mounting it in the windshield.

David Goss drove an SD for the TQ and win in expert stock sedan at the NORRCA onroad nats this weekend. I finished 4th in mod sedan with the SD as well

Default SD Results

Well saw some things this weekend to make me think the Yokomo SD may be my next buy. This weekend I ran in the 1st annual Tulsa Invitational in Tulsa, OK. I got the privilage to race in the invite class. There were many of the hot shoes from the midwest and then there were the top 4 guns that showed up to race. Barry Baker, Paul Lemiuex, Scotty Ernst and Chris Tosolini.

Chris was there with the New SD car. HE WAS FAST! Chris set top time for the weekend and ran the 2nd fastest lap of the event. He lost a tie breaker to Lemiuex to take 2nd in the Invite Class (Exact replica of the Reedy format- to the best of our knowledge..lol) Over 8 individual races that Chris competed in he won 7. The SD also Tq'ed and took second in the stock class- car set up by Chris for a local. I drive a xxx-s G+ and after seeing that SD i am thinking about selling.

Chris is a super nice guy. Talked a lot about his new car. He said that he is looking forward to the Reedy. After seeing him run this weekend he will challenge for the top spot next weekend.

I took some pics and will get them on as soon as I can.

Also the KR 10x1 he ran was SCARY FAST!

What a cool race to be apart of, my first race I had to run against Chris and got to stand next to him on the stand...and yes he did put a lap or so on me...lol
