yes I understand what you're asking,
BUT ESC's come with manuals, and inside there are instructions on how to change the connectors which plug into the receiver.
These connectors are the same as the connectors in the servos which also plug into the receiver. So the instructions can be applied to servos as well. I hope you get what i mean. Most servos don't come with those instructions,

Hey guys Im new to this fourm and I just got a used yoke sd ssg that is all stock. Im wondering what usually breaks on the car often and basically what spares and how many I need to keep in my box. Also since the car is all stock what hopups do you guys think I'll need? I'll be racing on carpet, Anyone have a good starting setup I could use? Thanks for your help

suspension arms, hinge pins, CVD bones, Wide Bumper, titanium king pins (keep the collars but use longer screws), steering knuckles. These will keep you crash-worthy.

I took some servo tape and mounted it to the center forward upper plate so that the little led thingy could be put in either window as the instructions suggest to put the LED thingy but if your track runs the counter-clock wise I would use something like the JT racing servo mount/transponder mount to put the transponder on the passenger side as to put that thingy in the window. Also strapping tape is a must, because any kind of crash can jar it free. I made the little whole a bit smaller than the diameter of the thingy as to make a tight fit. It is a great system, now if you could only count 10 cars then who would need AMB. HTH(hope this helps)

If you get the wide front bumper kit then you won't need to carry that many spare parts. Like any car you'll want some extra front end pieces though.

trevor, im talking about the SD1. Dad just agreed to buying me one from www.rcmart.com along with a eagle racing CDC charger
so basically i should carry mostly parts for the front end. would getting the aluminium front knuckles be better? i want to get anything that will make it better now so i build it with everything there, rather than talking it apart
