Yokomo USA "should" be getting theirs on tuesday, as long as customs doesn't hold them up.

Yokomo USA is only getting 65 kits in, I'm sure some people will be able to get ahold of a car through one of the overseas mailorder places though.

We had a prototype, it was not marked for body posts. It had a little more steering than a Stratus 2.0.

i just received these today:

Parts finish was ok, it was not as highly polished as the Yokomo ones. But at least it's machined and is lighter than the stock steel?magnesium?? ones. I don't have a scale to try quantify it though.

Blue is definitely better than grey

Some minor issues:
1. Some of the screw holes are not threaded/tapped deep enough. As such 2 stock titanium screws I was using had to be replaced with shorter ones. Including the longest button head screw with the spring support.

2. The motor clamp's last fin is too large and touches against the rear-right chassis brace. Nothing that my dremel couldn't fix.

Overall, it looks damned pretty on my CGM now and being lighter surely helps.
All for only US$15, way more bang for the buck than Yokomo's!!

"Damn, i should have bought that one instead of Yokomos.. But to hell with the price when it's blue and lightweight "

That is why I love my Rayspeed upgrade. It has the lightweight motor mount.....I just can't wait till the new RS2 comes out. I just have to be patient because Yokomo wanted to get the SDW out first...so I will just wait. Anyhow I have to say I am still loving my SD and it has not glitched since my little "FIND THAT GLITCH" game I was playing finally ended. Anyhow I still ordered the Spectrum 2.5Ghz System due out next month. I will post how everything works out. I dought that I will have problems since I don't have glitching issues any longer.
Take Care All & GOD Bless you and yours this holiday season.

Oh could some one put CHRIST back in CHRISTmas Please HE has been missing from it for sometime now.
THANKS

lem2: the brand is Niki. You'll love his range of CGM stuff:cheap and good and he's very nice to deal with.
