I'm sure someone will weigh them soon enough. I know that the human brain can perceive even very slight differences in weight, so I doubt Matt is wrong. However, there is still no substitue for a set of scales!!

Fukuyama graphite center shaft
That's good news!!!
I've been using the Yokomo graphite shaft for the past 2 race dates (stock class). I've read about the shaft splintering, so I decided to paint on 2 coats of thin CA. I then used a super fine grit sanding block to smooth out the surface of the shaft. I figured since the shaft is graphite, it must have an open fiber structure. Anyway, my hope is that the CA would fill the gaps between the fibers and make the graphite stronger. So far there are no signs of stress on the shaft (knock on wood).

Well finally got to run my CGM outdoors on a large high bite paved track...and WOW! With my Peak Vantage 10x2 and Promatch Batts the Yok was a rocket. Will have to post a setup soon to see how it compares to what Matt and the guys are running in Cali. Was able to run times that would have almost TQ'ed the last major event that they ran at the track. Gotta love first time out and being up to speed!

Looks like Shooter Graphite Main Shaft. Are they the same?
