I will only use BFast RC's products for my diffs from now on.
I know this sounds like a commercial for the guy(Fred) but the product is that good and I have no association with him what so ever and live on the other side of the world.

Thanks for the tip, saves me the time of having to true my own rings, ordered two sets will try out the next time I race.

A few weeks ago I sold my two Xray T2's and bought a TC5. From the git-go the TC5 is about a lap faster than my xrays were ever. Could be how the car responds to my driving, but faster is faster.

Thier is one change I would suggest.
New battery Strap.

I am using a LiPO steel plate so my LiPO has to be upside down. I crafted a G10 piece to fill the voids of the nubs so the pack would not shift in a wreck.

To hold it all down I am just using 5/8 4-40 cap screws in the hold down block. The block has thread-inserts because the plastic likes to strip out.

How do I decrease my TC5 from spinning out? Occurs when I brake. Do I need more droop? I am running rubber kit setup.

Ok guys I am a oval racer who is going to run some tc this year. I will have alot of questions, so be patient. So is the one way recommended on carpet? I need to make this car as forgiving as possible.

Is a spool recommended over a one way for beginners? Or just stick with the diff?

A one-way in most cases will be harder to drive....a diff is the most durable...and a spool will make the car the most easy to drive for rubber tires...maybe try the spool and see how you like it...

Your car will have the ability to turn faster lap times with a one-way if you are running rubber/carpet...but it is harder to drive than a diff...

I havent ran a spool on carpet so I cant give feedback for that...

I have the TC Comp and for my tight local track, I found that Mode 7, Progressive give the best performance for my 13.5 motor.

As for Ass-Ending the car, maybe too much weight is transfering too fast. I had my LRP breaks at 4 and 4, but later changed it to 2 and 2 and car became predicitble with breaks on.
