Hey guy's. nice looking car. got to see one the other weekend. As one of the guy's that just started pick on up.

he need a bit of help. what I'm looking for is a great/decent setup for this car. We race on a small to medium size ashpalt track. we do lay sugar water down. He race's in stock. so any info for a set up would be great.
He doesn't have the time to search as he's a long haul truck driver.

I noticed this car has tons of steering and is very nimble. when I took it out for a spin.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Besides I'm looking into this car also as a second car to run.

Cyrrus.

I ordered the TIR Layshaft and belts... anyone get them yet? Does the layshaft gears from associated work on the TIR layshaft? Any modification needed?

Where can you find the team bomber belts in the US??

Thanks

Hmmm, last night I was working on the setup on my TC5, and usually I have to alter the spring pre-load on left-right, front-rear shocks, BUT I usually perform the setup on the tweak station with my older GP3300 6-cells packs. Last night I used my 4200 6-cells and noticed that the tweak was not too far off.

Without a scale, I think the 4200's weight is higher than the 3300's, BUT should they be enough to cause a large change in tweak?

That would make a huge difference for sure. Let's say that each cell has a difference of 1/16 of an once (barely anything)... then 6 cells would be 3/8 or an once. If you put your car on balancing posts, and ad a quarter once, it can change the balance from one side to the other. Weight distribution is HUGE! I have seen alot of guys (including myself), that are running 5-cells mod put their ESC behind the battery because the weight balance is much closer. I would suggest, to get (if you don't already have them) some kind of balancing posts. Put everything in that is a much to be where it goes, ie. servo, motor, battery.., then play with the ESC, and RX, PT, Cap to see where it can make the car balanced. Don't forget that have the weight further out will create more levelage, so weight added close to the centerline will make a smaller difference in the balance.
