Seems like the suspension parts are made from the same material as in the past used by AE .

After club meets if I had a reason to strip the car down when something maybe a problem I found that you tend to strip the threads.
Also any alloy suspension bits available in the near future?

dr, about the directory, what's the problem? Is shustings the first initial and last name of the webmaster? That would be poor webmastering, but I think unprofessional is going a little far.

And yes, their website is just nasty.

How about product shots at ISO 6400? That's some sensor noise right there, baby.

I hate to say anything about a car before I drive it. I do like associated and it took great pain to get rid of my tc4's, but will this car be stiff enough for ozite carpet? It doesn't look like it has standoffs (note, I said look like because all the pictures I have seen don't, but maybe it will) and the chassis is only 2.5mm.

If you engineer it correctly you might not need a 3.7mm chassis!
Maybe this is why my 007 was over 1 oz. heavy for foam and Bob S. had to ad over 1 oz to his TC5.

It is all about the quality of the graphite that is used. If you use cheap stuff then it is going to flex no matter what the thickness is. If you use a higher grade then it is going to be stiffer.

The car is actually more rigid than you would think by looking at it. The designer of the car explained to me that by raising the height of the bulkhead slightly, that this increases torsional stiffness. One great thing about this also is with the car set-up like that, it is very resistent to tweak as compared to some of the other cars who have the bulkheads slammed down. The car can withstand harder impacts than other cars and remain consistent throughout the run as opposed to being tweaked and drive terribly.
