Probably it was too lose.

They also need to be rebuilt probably once a season. If you turn the tires opposite directions and they rotate smoothly, it's ok. If it feels like there's grit or sand in there, it needs a rebuild.

Ball Diffs are super easy to build/maintain/setup if you see one that is done right or have someone explain it to you. You should tighten it up all the way and then back it off 1/8 of a turn. That shouldn't slip at all and a good starting point to the setting.

Once a season you say? A friend of mine told me to rebuild the diff everytime before going to the track (but he races 1/12 pancar, maybe they are a little different. ).
About the smoothness, the "sand feeling" has to be very pronunced or when i feel even a little grit in the rotation is the time of rebuild?

Thinking about getting a 2wd buggy. Haven't ran one since the b4.1, so it's been a bit. Mainly I am an onroad guy, but my dad is getting back into off road so I may pick one up. I have an Xray X1 and X12, so figured I would try the Xray route, but I am not sure what to pick up. At the track he runs at it is very high bite clay. They run slicks and get plenty of traction, so I don't know if I would want the carpet car or the dirt car. My dad just got the x22.5 and really likes it though. I have a regular shorty pack to use, not lcg, so not sure if that is an issue. I have all the electronics needed and a spare 17.5. I am not positive I am going to run a buggy yet, but thinking about it. I would probably have to get rid on an onroad car to do it though. The new 20 car looks pretty good though.

On a side note, has anyone tried to use the 1/10th onroad setup station on their buggy?

Does the '20 car have a longer wheelbase(longer chassis?) than '18 and '19 ?

Finally finished the body. This is hands down the most rewarding build I’ve done in 30 yrs of RC. The XRays are engineering works of art.
Taking it out on the track tomorrow to tune it and dial it in to the track. Can’t wait!!

Xb2 aluminum uprights
Does anyone have a pair of 2019 xb2 aluminum uprights? I've searched everywhere and I'm not having much luck as every place is out of stock. Xray Part # 323355 thanks.
