When you switched bearings did you check for a bent hinge pin? Also, are you running kit plastic or aluminum hubs?

My buddy was running alum rear hubs and the threads for his ball stud were too long and went into the bearing insert and caused it to bind and pull to that direction.

Isn't the right side the natural power wheel? So, if the diff was a little loose isn't that the side that would get excess power?

No bent hinge pins. Tightened the diff up 1/8 of a turn and will try in the morning. Will adjust the diff to see what happens. If that does not work going to put the plastic C and D mount on and see if maybe the brass C or aluminum D mounts are sprung.

If I was to guess I dont think anything is bent but I could be wrong, it sounds like something in the slipper/diff area to me or something is binding under load somewhere, Have you cleaned and lubed the cvd's? (I'm sorry if you said you have I'm too lazy to go back and read lol) even just shoot some WD40 in them to see if that helps,

Yea at this point not seeing it or driving it makes it hard for us to do anything but throw ideas out there to try and help. Like I said with the noted changes to my truck which are minimal it does anything I want it to for my skill level and I know it could do better with a better driver. My brother also has one and he likes it said it has more steering than anything else he has ran, and seems to like it. Hope you figure out something I know it is aggravating for sure.

Yea cleaned and re lubed the CV's, even switched them from left to right along with the bearings. Tried the diff at 6 different tightness's and put the plastic D mount on. No change. Going to put a plastic C mount on now and try it. I read earlier in this post another guy had this problem to he bought a new frame. Guess if the mount doesn't change anything I will order a new frame.

Maybe a simple bit.

Front and rear.

Same shock oil (weight) side to side

Same shock pistons

Same shock lenghts

Same spring keepers

Same springs

Same pre-load

Same camber

Same hub placement (wheelbase)

maybe the track slopes down to the right where you are breaking loose, go around the track backwards and see if it goes to the left instead,

I tore the whole truck apart and put it back together last night. Double checked everything, hub inserts, pills in C and D mount, shock pistons, fresh shock oil, and preload etc. I re looked at all the hinge pins and they all looked fine, even put them against a straight edge. I had a spare set on hand so for craps and giggles I put new rear inner hinge pins in the truck. Now it spins out equally both directions. I do have the diff to tight in my opinion, will loosen it some and see what happens and adjust from there. Thank you all for your help.

The next time you're looking at hinge pins roll them across a flat surface, they will wobble if they're bent. (not saying yours are bent, just giving you an easy way to check them)

if you are spinning out you should adjust your slipper, not your diff,

It also sounds like you are just plain over powered, put a smaller motor in and probably most of these problems will go away,

Ok I will check the pins that way. I will cut some of the motor out and try.

Thank you both.

Thought you was just running a 17.5 Big_Show? I run a 8.5 and do not have this problem.

Have 17.5 and 8.5 for both this and B6D. B6D handles the 8.5 good, that why I am chasing traction on the SC5M.
