It's Southern Utah 1/8 scale Raceway. I haven't seen any videos posted. I'll shoot some with my phone and post it to their Face Book page.

I'll post my setup tonight. The car needed a small front piston and stiffer spring, but otherwise it was pretty good. My traction rolling was mainly off the high speed sweepers.

Ya.. DONT try the triple..

IF you can: be sure your slipper is set properly, then

Run at least once with the Soft Clicker Spring - back of nut even with threads
&
Run at least once with the Clicker Locked

My setup for Cactus. The front needed the 1.5 piston and possibly a little stiffer front spring, but overall the car was really good.

Default Horizon/TLR Question

I would like to see the steering "A" and "B" arms sold as a separate package. Personally, I would never use the servo horns included with TLR234024 as A) I've never stripped a plastic one out B)I normally use a metal option horn, and I would pray I would never bend the steering linkage!!

It would make more sense to include those parts with TLR231017, if TLR really wanted to package it with other parts for convenience purposes.

I would like to get something a little more convenient than my nitro for practicing at my local outdoor track, but at the same time I want to get something to run as a second class at my local indoor 1/10th scale track. 4wd Buggy is just starting to get some life around here and I've yet to see one outdoors.
Go for it. When the 22-4 came out I ran mine at a blown out, low bite 1/8th scale track and it was a blast. Bye the second day I was intentionally driving it like my 8e3.0 to test the durability. It was freakin awesome.

Thanks for sharing. That's way different. I heard the traction was insane.

Didn't mess with the clicker at all. Car was pretty good on corner entry but quite loose on exit. Loosened up both diffs and my slipper and it helped quite a bit.

Well, the 1/8th scale track outing with the 22-4 was not a success I broke a front a-arm and then a rear hub. A-arm was coming up short and lawn darting a 12' double and the rear hub was the car getting out of shape on take off and landing a bit sideways. Two packs and two breaks. Frustrated, I let her rip on the last pack and boosted the triple. Over jumped it by about 5' but it was awesome and didn't break anything. Lesson learned... Over jumping is better than coming up 6" short and I better learn how to make mid-air corrections or sell it.

I put about 2 hrs on mine last night at the track. The car is very fun to drive. I did not break anything and was really pushing it really hard.

Yep. I have smoked a flow accidentally by reversing polarity.

Some parts are packaged for convenience, some for how they come out of the mold. These parts are out of the same material so they are out of the same mold and thus packaged together.

After 2 track practice sessions I'm definitely getting used to driving this buggy. I've owned the XX-4 & XXX-4, but it's been several years since I've raced 4wd buggies. It's been more 4wd Short Course. You forget how much more reactive a buggy is compared to the SC. Especially since I drove my 22-4 immediately after driving the SCTE. Big difference in handling. I still need a bit more off power corner rotation on the buggy, but I think I'll have that tuned in after another track session. Looking forward to more racing this outdoor season.
