BTW, the track is a small 40x 60 layout , smooth , Med -Low bite top soil. here is a quick vid of the track with 2WD buggie running:

Were your tires broken in enough? It can take 10+ packs on our track.

Well, the D-F setup was a little loose out back for me so first I put a little bit thicker oil up front. That helped some. Then I went to the lighter swaybar and that helped too but I want a little more (darn my car has a lot of steering!). So I'm going to a little longer and higher rear camber link. I'm also going to try the longer and lower one but I haven't been able to get to the track and try either out yet. Unfortunately, after next week, our track closes for a while, probably a month then will be open for 2 months (crossing fingers) or could be closed until next Sept/Oct (it's also another business).

Maiden Voyage this week.

From what I read, the front A Arms and Hinge Pins continue to have issues with no TLR solution yet. As for hinge pins , is the best alternative the scte outer hinges (part # TLR233002)?

Other parts/upgrades needed:
TLR334009 — Steering Bellcrank Set Alum 22-4
TLR334012 — Servo Horn 25T Alum 22-4 (for SAXOX)
TLR234013 — Front Arm Set 22-4
TLR234021 — Shock Tower Set 22-4

Anything else?

Anyone have AMAIN codes?

Thanks

The part number you listed (TLR233002) is for the TLR 22 2.0 TiCN Rear Shock Shaft.
http://www.amain.com/product_info.ph...-Shock-Shaft-2

The hinge pins you mention I believe are either LOSB4109
http://www.amain.com/product_info.ph...n-Set-10-Ten-T

OR TLR6080 http://www.amain.com/product_info.ph...inge-Pin-Set-6

I just recently (yesterday) ordered a 22-4 and also purchased the TLR6080 hinge pins. Looking forward to my build next weekend

Codes:
1430C1 (spend $150 = -$12.50)
1430C2 (spend $250 = -$25.00)
1430C3 (spend $750 = -$75.00)

What tires/compound and inserts are you running?
Try this set up. Last night myself and another 22-4 finished 1-2 in quals and on the podium. This set up was a lap on the field in quals and the main all night long. Then we had a team race. While my partner was throttling the kit I steered. We were again a lap on the field in the main. Medium bite track.
If you take the time to try it let me know how it works.??
This set will give you great on and off power steering.

But start this set up with one difference. Run the front lower shock position on the inner hole of the a-arm. If you like it drive it. If not move the front lower out and it will hair pin turns faster and give you more on power steering.
Not sure if you have any but the tires are the key to any set up. but any other tire may actually make it better?

Here's some positive feed back. And it was all on RC Live. Oh yeah.

Now hear this! Big grin racing>>>>

Only thing breaking was the competitions ego's. we blistered some fanny's last night.

Well I went to the feb fallout in ky ,,it's a Capet/felt track.. I wasn't going to race it at first because I had no spares and it being a big money race..but after breaking the diffs in imhad too.this car was so smooth, and like a touring car as well..X-rays have been dominating there.i set tq and ended up putting 2 laps on the normal winner there..was running pretty much box setup only with front and rear yellow swaybars ..I'm loving this car

I forgot they had rc live on for the evidence that the cars are great! Haha but no joke this car has made a mid pack racer a podium finisher, tlr has created a great buggy that is a blast to drive!
