agree 100%. how the top pro guys who have 345673457X's my skill matters little to me. i believe in supporting innovation (when it works) and this buggy is innovative (shock towers, center diff, three piece body, variable flex characteristics of the arms, distinctive layout differences for shorty/saddle formation). i really hope ty does well but in the end it will not effect my decision on whether or not i pull the trigger (probably will). just wish it had an aluminum chassis. i'd sacrifice a bit of performance for the durability of the aluminum as i intend to have the buggy for a while.

The new TLR 22-4 is priced at $469.99, so I am guessing somewhere in that range, give or take (hopefully take) $20 or so.
I am glad to se Ty came through in his last 3 rounds to get a good grid position in A main!

This car just oozes innovation. I hope it does well. I'm rooting for Lee Martin in the worlds but I hope Ty does well. I can see how this car can change the 4wd class so in a few years we'll be hearing, "oh it's just another D413 clone!" lol

I do have a concern with the rear forward tower mount to the carbon fibre top plate. That area looks to be a little to light on material and prime for breakage if one was to land upside down off a large jump.
One problem with top level guys like Ty running the car is it really isn't durability tested. Ty hardly wreaks so how durable do we know things are? We all see how manufactures test vehicles with their top drivers then the car comes out and parts are breaking all over the place once the public gets the car. And what does the manufacture say? "We never had any breakage issues during testing." Yeah because your drivers about never wreak. I have been racing in this hobby for 25 years and believe me this has happened all the time in so many types of cars.
I do hope the car comes out in November as I need one to race.

I have to admit, after watching some of the 4wd practice videos, the car looks much smoother than any of the others. I'm sure that cdiff plays a part in that. I'd like to see this car on a rougher blown out track (i.e. the average joe's race track) where I'm sure the cdiff will make a huge difference in putting down the power smoothly.

In what configuration does Ty drive his d413? shorty or saddle?

Tessmann gets third! He was winning, but rolled over I think on lap ten. The only brand that didn't brake once. Bash or race, it does both at the highest level

Why not when you have 3 or 4 very good belt cars?
pick your poison, one isn't better than the other.
